A Painting Finds a New Owner

It's always a pleasure to sell my paintings to people who really like my work and want nothing more than to hang it on their walls. A wonderful gent name Martin came over the other day to collect "Nude Descending a Staircase" (yes I stole the title). This is one of my favorite paintings, yet I'm much happier knowing it's gone to a good home then to keep it wrapped up and unseen in my studio.

Brixton Urban Art Fair 2011

Hmm, an outside Art Fair on the streets of Brixton! Great idea......unless it should rain for the entire duration of the event. But hey what are the chances.......?
So it's hard not to be agitated with the way the Urban Art Fair went. The success of such an event really did rely on good weather and I spent half the time trying to prevent my prints from getting wet. But really what could anyone have done?
Despite an entire weekend of battling with God- pissing everyone off.....well pissing on everyone, it was fun. I still met some great artists and some lovely people.....and still managed to sell some art work.Horrah.

Capoeira figures

These are some initial drawings which I hope will be part of a dance performance by Capoeira group Cordao De Ouro London. They were inspired by capoeira movements and also a piece of music called Maiz -by Murcof. I feel like I've not done these kind of drawings for some time and it was refreshing to make purely spontaneous imagery.
